The Queen is making the final journey from her Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire to Edinburgh.

Thousands of people lined the streets as the convoy carrying her coffin passed through villages as people offered their final goodbyes to the country’s longest-serving monarch.

The coffin will be placed at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in the country’s capital before resting on Monday at St Giles’ Church along the Royal Mile.
