9. Alcaraz has tied the record for the biggest jump to No. 1 in ATP rankings history. He is only the fourth player from World No. 4 to World No. 1 in an update of the ATP Rankings (a tournament). Alcaraz joins Carlos Moya (March 1999), Andre Agassi (July 1999) and Pete Sampras (September 2000) on this list.

10. Alcaraz is the first player since Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon 2019 to save a match point to win a Grand Slam title. Alcaraz saved a point against Jannik Sinner in the quarterfinals. Djokovic saved two points against Roger Federer in the 2019 Wimbledon final.
11. Alcaraz now has 5 Tour leading titles this season. Before the US Open title, he also won the ATP Masters 1000 titles in Miami and Madrid.
