IMF cuts India’s GDP outlook for FY23 to 7.4%
NEW DELHI: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday lowered India’s economic outlook for fiscal year 2022-23 to 7.4%.
This forecast is much lower than the previous estimate of the IMF of 8.2%.
In its latest World Economic Outlook, the IMF forecasts that the Indian economy will grow by 6.1% in the 23-24 fiscal year.
