“It is with great sadness that I announce [that] my mother passed away yesterday morning, peacefully,” Caitlyn Jenner shared on social media on April 21. Caitlyn, 73, shared her message along with photos of her late mother, Esther Jenner, including a photo from Esther’s 95th birthday party. “Losing a mother is unique in the sense that she was the only one who loved me all my life,” he wrote. Keeping up with the Kardashians alum. “I will miss her immensely. She is a few weeks younger than 97 years old and lives a full life. Love mom.”
Friends, family and fans filled out the comments section with condolences. The actress wrote: “Sorry for your loss, sending loads of love Jacqueline Osborne. Social media personalities and entrepreneurs Tatiana Victoria Riley Leave a string of heart emojis. “My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family @caitlynjenner. May she rest in peace,” wrote one fan. “My heart and prayers are with you and your family at this time. From what I’ve seen of your mother, she has looks like a very selfless, kind, understanding and loving mother,” another added.
Esther Jenner is a loving mother and grandmother, although she hasn’t always been a fan of the family business. “I think the Kardashian show is the most pointless thing I’ve ever seen,” she said in 2022 after Caitlyn was dropped from the Hulu series, kardashian family. “But my two nieces, kendall And Kyliecreated it, and I love them dearly,” Esther speak Sun. “They are my blood. Caitlyn says she’s happy the family is starting a new reality TV series without her, and Esther has backed that claim. “I don’t know if [Caitlyn] even care. It’s something we haven’t even discussed,” she said.
Esther said she feared for her daughter’s life. Caitlyn ran in the 2021 California governor recall election, only to receive 15 votes. “I think Caitlyn is booking [her] life on the line,” Esther said. “I am afraid for [her]. [Caitlyn] is a very strong person. [She] there is a lot of courage.”
“We’re very close. We can talk three or four times a week. I have to live with any decision [she] do and support [her] in anything [she] selected as. I have no control,” Esther added. “But I thinhk [she] will be placed [herself] in a dangerous position [if she runs for office again]So I’m not sure.”
At the time of the statement, a representative for Caitlyn said Page Six that her mother “is old. She lives alone in a house. Caitlyn has 24/7 armed security and has no fear for her safety. All comments regarding the Kardashian and Jenner kids are the sole opinion of that woman and Caitlyn would be hurt to read it in the press.”
