The Hyundai Verna 2023 will carry a sleeker design than the existing model. The leaked images taken in Korea are of the new Accent sedan. Hyundai sells the Verna in the global market by that name. The images show a new grille with a parametric design. It is not like what has been seen on new generation Hyundai models like Location or Tucson. The grille is surrounded by a set of sharp LED headlights at both ends. According to the teaser shared by Hyundai a few days ago, the sedan will also have a DRL bar that spans the full width of the bonnet.

The leaked images also hint at an N-Line version of the Verna. The matte finish on the Verna may be one of its distinguishing features over the standard version.

On the sides, Hyundai has also updated the alloy wheel design. The cuts and creases on the sides start at the A column and go almost all the way to the C column. At the rear, Hyundai has added a new LED taillight cluster along with a strip of lights running across the width of the trunk. New Hyundai weed will also come with a sunroof, as hinted from the leaked images.

The new Hyundai Verna, which will be offered in four variants, will be powered by a 1.5 Turbo GDi petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine currently found on some Hyundai vehicles will be converted to use. It produces 113 hp and 144 Nm. Hyundai is also expected to add ADAS functionality in the Verna alongside other new features. It is not clear if Hyundai will launch the N-Line version of the Verna in India.
