Hyundai Aura facelift launched January 20; price, features, powertrain, competitors
Pre-orders for the Grand i10 Nios, Aura opened on January 9 for Rs 11,000.
hyundai recently revealed facelifts for Halo and Grand i10Nios. Booking for Hyundai roadster and compact car opened on 9th Jan for Rs 11,000 each. While Hyundai has confirmed the launch of the Grand i10 Nios later this week, the Aura is also expected to launch around the same time.

Ahead of the launch, official Aura brochures have surfaced online revealing key details of the compact sedan.
Hyundai Aura facelift: new features
The facelifted Aura will receive a host of new features over the old model. It currently has four airbags, ABS and EBD as standard, while six airbags, ESC and hill-hold assist will be offered as options. Furthermore, the rear head restraints on the Aura are now adjustable and it also has legroom lighting in the front seats. The instrument cluster has also been redesigned and now features two analog gauges for the tachometer and tachometer, and a new 3.5-inch multi-information display (MID) with system Tire pressure monitoring (TPMS).
Hyundai has replaced the Vintage Brown color option with the Starry Night color seen on the Verna, i20, Alcazar and Tucson. The Aura continues to be equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, automatic air conditioning and a wireless charger.
Hyundai Aura facelift: powertrain
Under the hood, the Aura continues with a 1.2-liter petrol engine that produces 83 hp and 113.8 Nm of torque. It is also equipped with a CNG kit for this engine and produces 69 hp and 95.2 Nm of torque. While both are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the petrol engine also has the option of an AMT transmission. Currently, the facelift version does not have a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 100 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque.
Hyundai Aura facelift: price and competition
The Aura facelift is expected to cost around Rs 6.5 lakh-Rs 9.5 lakh. It will compete with tata tigor priced from 6.10 lakh to 8.84 lakh, motorbike petrol cost 6.89 lakh to 9.48 lakh as well as Maruti Suzuki Dzire priced from 6.24 lakh to 9.18 lakh. All prices out of showroom, India).
