You may notice that gas price has gone up a bit over the past week. Based on AAA, the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline currently stands at $3.75. That’s a $0.07 increase from the end of Reduced continuously for 99 days that’s over September 21.

As for what happens next with gas priceIt’s a bit hard to say, since there are all sorts of elements happening both ways.

In the “downward” corner we have: low gas demand and falling oil prices.

In the “bullish corner” we have: refinery problems (such as planned maintenance and fires) and… a hurricane.

“Decreased demand and lower oil prices will ease downward pressure on gas prices,” said Andrew Gross, AAA “But Hurricane Ian could pose problems, depending on the path of the storm, by disrupting oil production in the Gulf of Mexico and affecting large coastal refineries,” the spokesperson said. ”

So, what have we learned from this? Well, for starters, it’s basically impossible to tell where gas prices will go. If I had to give an educated guess, I would say they will continue to trend upwards, but at a much slower rate than would be if there was a higher demand for the dinosaur juice. At the end of the day all we can really say is… what would you do?

Hope you like that. Anyway, let’s take a look at gas prices around the country.
