Nicholas Latifi took advantage of improving conditions in Hungary to set Practice Three’s fastest time!
Nicholas Latifi made a big surprise when driver Williams took advantage of the dry track to beat Charles Leclerc with the fastest time in the final match at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Ferrari’s Leclerc topped the timesheet for most of the session, but in a frantic four-minute final after a red flag was triggered by Sebastian Vettel crashing into a fence, Latifi was able to do it. for my intermediate tires to work extremely well.
It was the first time Latifi, the only driver yet to score a World Championship point this season, topped an F1 practice session, with a score of 1:41,480 beating Leclerc in 0.6 seconds.
Alexander Albon highlighted Williams’ ability in the wet, finishing third, while World Championships frontman Max Verstappen finished fourth despite choosing to run much less than the majority of drivers.

Sebastian Vettel found the barrier in Turn 10 and brought home the red flag in Practice 3.
Leclerc, who survived his own scare shooting in Round 3, appeared to maintain the advantage he held against Red Bull in dry conditions on Friday, but a forecast is uncertain. for the rest of Saturday will set up a potentially thrilling elimination session.
Despite George Russell climbing to fifth in the final leg, Mercedes still struggled to generate tire temperatures in wet and cooler conditions, with Lewis Hamilton down to 11th place after the repeat expressing disapproval. Disappointed in his team’s performance.
