Nintendo Direct February 2023: what we expect to see
Kingdom Tears is Nintendo’s biggest release of the year, and likely spans the entire Switch lifecycle. With Link’s next big adventure launching on May 12, it’s likely we’ll get another look at the game during the Live. Failing that, it’s not uncommon for us to get a dedicated Kingdom Tears Live in the next few months.
Another game that is likely to be introduced is Pikmin 4. After a revealing leak Pikmin 4release date may be earlier than we thinkwe’ll most likely get an expanded gameplay skin and a launch date for this much-anticipated Switch release.
Nintendo also currently has a few games that we’re looking forward to downloadable content. Xenoblade Chronicles 3its story extension will be released this year, so maybe we will have a trailer for that and a release window for the next series of JRPG content.
Released recently Fire Emblem joins expansion cards also, so we’re likely to know who will be the next DLC unit at Direct. Meanwhile, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet there isn’t any confirmed DLC, but we can see the expansion card message like we did with Pokémon Sword & Shield after launch.
Besides that, expect a host of indie and third-party games to appear at Direct. Once again, we especially hope for special release windows for Silksong Hollow Knight And Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp. But as always, we are trying to control our expectations to avoid disappointment.
