How to watch racing this weekend, June 3-6
Welcome to the Jalopnik Motorsport Weekend, where we tell you what’s going on in the racing world, how to watch this weekend’s IndyCar, NASCAR and Formula E races and where you can talk about it, all in one convenient place. Where else would you like to spend the weekend?
To listen. I know Jalopnik’s commentaries are not generally The biggest Formula E fans, but I want you all to give this race a chance. This will be the first race of the series in Jakarta, Indonesia, and so far, everything is going pretty well wet. As it was inside, rain poured into the garage (admittedly only a handful of tents). But I promise you: It will be a good thing.
If you are looking for different open wheel actions, look no further than IndyCar. This weekend sees the series’ final race at Detroit’s Belle Isle streets; Next year, the cars will fly over downtown Detroit. I hopeless wanted to take part in this race (largely because there’s a swing on Belle Isle that lets you watch the track while you’re in the air), but having two cats – one of them can’t get on – makes it difficult. that becomes difficult.
