How to Watch Formula 1, NASCAR, IndyCar and Everything Else in Racing This Weekend, July 29-31
Welcome to the Jalopnik Motorsport Weekend, where we tell you what’s going on in the racing world, how to watch Formula 1, IndyCar and NASCAR this weekend and where you can talk about it, all in one convenient place. Where else would you like to spend the weekend?
It’s one of my new favorite weekends of the year: that weekend when IndyCar and NASCAR compete on the same track on the same weekend. It’s nice to be in a place where these two series can coexist without actively trying to outdo the other.
We are also approaching the end of the Formula E season. Early this weekend at the ExCeL London indoor-outdoor circuit will provide some serious definition of what it is. title wars currently taking place between Stoffel Vandoorne, Edoardo Mortara, Mitch Evans and Jean-Eric Vergne. Looks like we’ll be broadcasting the races live here in the US!
Finally, we are also entering the last Formula 1 race before the summer break: the Hungarian Grand Prix. Whatever you think of this particular race track, I highly recommend watching my new podcast, Donut Racing Show, after the fact. (Yes, it’s a cheap plug. You can find it on Spotify, Appleand anywhere else you get your podcast.)
