Apple Watch running watchOS 9
How it works on Apple Watch
Apple says that by default, your Apple Watch will remind you when it’s time to take your medication based on a schedule you’ve created in the Health app on your iPhone. To record your medications, follow these steps.
- If you get a notification to record your medications, tap the notification. Otherwise, open the Medicines app on your Apple Watch.
- Tap your current medication history — the one you take in the morning, for example.
- Click Log All as Taken.
Apple Watch records the dose, the number of units taken, and the time you take the medication.
- To log individual medications, scroll down, tap a drug in Your Medicines, then tap Log.
The medication name and time it was recorded appear below Recorded.
- To change the status of a recorded medication, tap it, tap Taken or Skipped, then tap Done.
To view your medication logs and history on iPhone, open the Health app, tap Browse, then tap Medicines.
