The reinvented utility outdoor clothing brand debuted at Pitti Uomo in January 2023 and presents a new direction led by Aaron Levine, a prominent US designer in New York, who previously worked on jobs for Abercrombie & Fitch, lead.
Spiewak was founded in 1904 by Isaak Spiewak, an immigrant from Poland to America, who began sewing sleeveless sheepskin clothes for Brooklyn dockworkers and later specialized in the production of uniforms, mainly pants. uniforms worn by the United States Army.
The brand was taken over by Cristina Calori, the owner, WP from the founding family of Spiewak, they kept the original division that produced uniforms and technical clothing for police, firefighters and first aid workers. .

The acquisition took place a few years ago and today WP is getting ready to relaunch. Calori explains: “Previously with WP, we distributed the collection in Europe and received a good response. Now, the brand will celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2024, having hit the market in the fall. winter 2022”.
“Spiewak’s new course takes the form of an exercise in simplicity. It’s a modern expression perfectly suited to the lifestyles of those who want to live everyday life,” added Calori.
The collection offers 70% menswear and 30% womenswear from a total of about 30 outerwear pieces and ten more including intermediate layers, nylon or padded pants and skirts, suitable for combined with classic elements of the brand.

Spiewak’s collection starts anew from its roots and reinvents the original mainstream clothing worn by firefighters, postmen, police and military in an urban and street mood. As part of this attitude, it offers the parka, a historic garment born in the company, reinvented in modern style thanks to a removable hood, technical details and accessories. reflective event.
Featured among the garments in the collection is the Spiewak Titan Cloth jacket, the iconic iridescent, light-reflective fabric used for American workers’ coats.

Other collection items are the original five-button outerwear jacket inspired by the jackets worn by the military during World War I, the US Navy’s N1 Deck Jacket, a remake of the N3B Snorkel Parka and Titanium Fabric Workwear.
Many of the materials used in the collection are recycled or biodegradable, and all insulation is made with recycled polypill or recycled fluff.
The brand sells for a retail price of between €400 and €900 and will be sold to about 100 very select target retailers, primarily in the United States, but also in Europe and later through commerce. electronic.
