NSW parents who taught their children at home through the course last year can now claim the $250 voucher by applying online.
From Monday, one person in each eligible household will receive five $50 vouchers that can be used to book accommodation or entertainment around the state through early October.
Parents must register to participate in the Parent voucher program by following a five-step process through the Service NSW website.
Coupons will then be available in the Service NSW app or can be picked up at service centres.

Parents will receive another back-to-school cash boost to recognize the months spent homeschooling their children during the Covid lockdown in 2021
To be eligible, applicants need to be 18 years of age or older, a NSW resident, hold a valid Medicare card, be the primary carer of school-age children in 2021 and be homeschooled.
After creating an account and signing in, parents will be taken to the first stage of the registration process, where they will be asked to verify their identity by uploading an Australian driver’s license or Medicare card.
If these details are already in the Service NSW system, applicants can click a button that will automatically screen for documents previously shared with the government website.
Next, parents will be asked to check that their MyService NSW account details are correct, including their date of birth, email, address and phone number.
The second final stage checks the eligibility of the applicant. It asks parents to enter their and their child’s Medicare details, as well as their child’s date of birth, school, and residential address.
If deemed eligible, parents will be able to review their application and submit it to the government for evaluation.
Coupons will be automatically added to the NSW Services App upon approval.

The parent scheme will be followed by the Stay NSW initiative later this month, which will give everyone over 18 a $50 voucher to spend with seat providers accommodation is approved.
