Honor X40 GT Launched With 144Hz Refresh Rate Display, 66W Fast Charging Support: Price, Specifications

The Honor X40 GT was launched in China on Thursday at a live event organized by the company. The new Honor smartphone features a 144Hz refresh rate display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone comes with a triple rear camera that is titled as a 50-megapixel main camera. It offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. This gaming-focused phone features an eight-layer graphite cooling pad for heat management. The Honor X40 GT also packs a 4,800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.

Honor X40 GT price, availability

The Honor X40 GT priced at CNY 1,999 (about Rs 22,900) for the base model 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,299 (about Rs 26,300). Both variants are now available for pre-order in China with Magic Night Black, Racing Black and Titanium Empty Silver color options (translated) through the Honor Shopping Mall website. It will go on sale later this month.

The rear cameras are arranged in a large ring with LED flash as well as GT branding. For selfies, Honor has provided a 16-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The phone offers up to 256GB of internal memory.

Connectivity options on the Honor X40 GT include 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The phone packs a 4,800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
