Honda Activa H-Smart launched for 74,536


Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched a new variant of the Activa 6G that comes with their H-Smart technology. This is the new top-end variant of the Activa. The scooter is available with a starting price of $74,536 (old gallery). Activa has been the most popular scooter in the Indian market.

The new Honda Activa H-Smart scooter has three versions with different prices. The trim options are Standard, Luxury, and Smart, priced at $74,536, $77,036 and $80,537 (former gallery), respectively. The Honda Activa H-Smart scooter is said to come with 5 new patented technology applications.

The manufacturer claims that the scooter has a smart search feature that allows it to respond when a user tries to locate it with the smart key. The smart key allows the rider to lock and unlock the scooter without using a physical key. Using this smart key, the scooter’s engine can be started when the vehicle is within two meters of the key. It also comes with an engine start and stop switch.

The Honda Activa H-Smart has a longer wheelbase, longer legroom, new gearshift switches and DC LED headlights. Other design elements include a new design for alloy wheels. The scooter offers a comfortable riding experience through its 12-inch front alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension and adjustable rear suspension.

Honda claims that the new scooter comes with a bunch of new technology. It is powered by a 110 cc PGM-FI engine that is compatible with OBD2. It is also combined with advanced intelligent power technology (eSP) to ensure linear power generation. New technologies introduced to the Activa scooter include an updated programmed fuel injection system, enhanced intelligent damping technology, ACG starter and friction reduction. These patented technologies claim to make powertrains more efficient.
