Household appliances retailer third quarter earnings report was $4.24 per share, higher than analysts’ expectations of $4.12 per share. Revenue came in at $38.9 billion, up 5.6 percent from a year earlier and topping estimates at $38 billion. Same-store sales rose 4.3%, 3.1% higher than estimates. Same-store sales in the US rose 4.5%.
