Elections for the 68-member Himachal council will take place next month.
Among the prominent candidates, incumbent prime minister Jai Ram Thakur will run from Seraj. Anil Sharma, son of former Union Minister Sukh Ram, has been transferred from Mandi. Satpal Singh Satti was given a ticket by Una.
The list also features five female candidates. Several incumbent MLAs have been dropped.

The BJP finalized the list of 62 candidates after a lengthy meeting of the Central Election Commission chaired by party chairman JP Nadda. The event was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Himachal State Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, State BJP Chief Suresh Kashy and other prominent leaders.
The congress on Tuesday announced its first list of 46 candidates. The former party leaders of the state Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Kuldeep Singh Rathore from Nadaun and Theog, respectively.
The AAP, which is looking to make inroads in the state, released a list of four candidates last month.
The Election Commission has announced the date for Elections in Himachal Pradesh last week. The single-stage vote will take place in the state on November 12. Voting will take place on December 8.
