Monika Wassermann, MD, from Olio Lusso, explains: “Brown fat is often thought of as a food fat that exists naturally in the body and is used to provide heat in cold temperatures.”
“In contrast, white fat is a byproduct of eating too many calories and fat, which are common factors in high cholesterol.”
