Hero Motocorp will soon launch the updated Xpulse 200T in the Indian market. It will be upgraded aesthetically as well as mechanically.
Hero Motocorp has released the first teaser of their upcoming XPulse 200T 4V. Last year, the manufacturer launched Xpulse 200 The 4V is a more powerful version of the Xpulse 200. It has a new motor and it is expected that the upcoming Xpulse 200T 4V will also have a similar motor. Therefore, the price of Xpulse 200T will increase slightly. Currently, Hero Xpulse 200T is priced at 1.24 lakh (old gallery).
The engine is a single cylinder, 199.6cc capacity, oil/air cooled, which will now have a four-valve head instead of two. It produces 18.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm on the Xpulse 200 4V. Motor current on Xpulse 200T produces 18.1 hp at 8,500 rpm and 16.15 Nm at 6,500 rpm. So there is a slight bump in power output and the new engine also has more rattle to cruise at higher speeds. There will be no changes to the gearbox so it will still be a 5-speed unit.

In addition to the mechanical changes, there will also be cosmetic upgrades. Hero Motocorp has equipped the updated XPulse 200T with a short fly screen for aesthetic purposes only. There is fork throttle to protect the front fork from dirt accumulation. A shield has also been added to protect the lower part from large rocks. The pillion brace is also new. There are also new colors.
In the list, Xpulse 200T will sit on Xtreme 160R cheap. It will compete with Honda Hornet 2.0, Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. Having said that, the Xpulse 200T is expected to be more affordable than its rivals.
