Hero MotoCorp Maestro Xoom Scooter Launching Tomorrow: Price Expectations
Hero MotoCorp is set to kick off the new year with the launch of a new scooter in its lineup. The company will introduce the Maestro Xoom 110 scooter tomorrow, January 30, 2023. The model will launch with a host of upgrades and new features over the standard version. The Maestro Xoom version was first spotted last September, hinting at a holiday launch but the company decided to keep the prototype until 2023.
The Hero Maestro Xoom is expected to arrive with a new look complete with H-shaped LED daytime running lights, new LED headlights and even new X-shaped LED taillights. Other upgrades expected include a new digital instrument panel capable of incorporating Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. This model will be positioned higher than the standard Maestro Edge 110 scooter and is likely to be equipped with 12-inch alloy wheels with front disc brakes. The scooter will likely be available in three variants.

Power will come from a familiar 110 cc single-cylinder engine with XSens fuel injection technology, producing 8 hp at 7,250 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 5,750 rpm. minute. The engine will be paired with a CVT unit. Suspension duties will likely be handled by the familiar telescopic front fork and hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. Braking performance will come with a disc and drum brake setup with combined braking.
Notably, the Honda Activa 6G 110, India’s most popular ICE scooter, has recently been upgraded with the new H-Smart top-end variant. That said, the Hero Maestro Xoom will be a sportier offering and compete with the Honda Dio in the segment. Hero is expected to keep the price competitive at the launch of this model, and the scooter will likely cost around $75,000-80,000 (old gallery), putting it on par with the competition. Details on bookings and availability will be revealed at launch.
