I know we’re moving more and more into the wireless world, but I still need my gate.

USB-CHDMI, even a couple of handy USB-A ports.

Here’s why, as much as I love my new iPad Pro supports M2I found that the single USB-C port is really limited.

Until now.

Also: Using the wrong USB-C cable can damage your technology. How to avoid that

Enter the equation Satechi M1 . USB-C Multimedia Adapter (don’t let the M1 fool you, this also works fine on M2 hardware).

The USB-C M1 Multimedia Adapter has dual HDMI 4K display ports (60Hz/30Hz), one USB-C port for charging, one separate USB-C data port (this is useful when I’m editing drone footage on my iPad Pro) and two additional USB-A 3.0 data ports. And all this from a single USB-C connection.

As is the case with all Satechi products, this adapter not only performs well, but also looks good. Packaged in a glossy aluminum finish, it matches the look, finish, and feel of Apple products.

And since it’s quite compact — 12 x 6 x 1.8 cm and weighs 140 g — it’s small enough to slip into your pants pocket or your iPad or laptop bag.

As with almost all Satechi products, I have nothing bad to say about the M1 USB-C Multimedia Adapter. I suppose if driven to edit, I sometimes feel like the cable on the adapter is a bit small and wish it were detachable. But I also know that if it were removable, I would take it off, use it elsewhere, and not have it when I need it.

Also: Apple iPad Pro 2022 M2 is my copilot (drone)

And if it’s longer, it adds bulk and clutter.

no, the Satechi M1 . USB-C Multimedia Adapter almost perfect as an adapter can be.
