Here’s Nutritionist Celeb Rujuta Diwekar’s All-Day Navratri Eating Plan

Renowned nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar recently took to Instagram to share an all-day eating plan for Navratri 2022. She covers a wide range of options for all meals of the day including early morning, breakfast , lunch, dinner and even mid-meal snacks.

During Navratri, devotees often observe quickly and eat only specific foods, avoiding all others.

“Navratri, among many other things, is about maintaining discipline with food to help nurture creativity and feminine principles in our bodies,” Diwekar wrote in the post’s caption. She says that following a fasting plan during Navratri will provide immediate benefits such as smoother digestion, better mood and hormonal balance, while also improving skin health and hair. “These meals add much-needed variety to our diet, beating the monotony of roti sabzi, dal chawal and is a good way to infuse essential fats, minerals and phytonutrients into our lives,” she adds. She adds that meal plans can be tailored to the region and location. direction.

Here is the Navratri meal plan shared by renowned nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar:

first. For the first meal of the day Rujuta Diwekar recommends options like a handful of nuts, overnight raisins or fresh fruit.

2. For breakfastRujuta Diwekar recommends many recipes like singhare ke pakore, sabudana khichdi or even sweet potatoes with dahI. Hello! and chana poori halwa can also be consumed according to Diwekar but only at the end of nine days of fasting.

Rujuta Diwekar also recommended Halwa Chana and Poori but only in the later days of Navratri.

3. For lunchit’s all about types sabzis combined with kuttu, rajgira or singhare ki roti or even samak ke chawal. You can choose from alu sabzi, arbi, makhane ki sabzi and even kuttu ki kadhi.Rujuta Diwekar also suggested doing upsacha thalipeeth.

4. For mid-meal snacksthere are many suggestions given by Rujuta Diwekar such as fresh fruit, shakarkandhi ki chaat or sabudana wada with dahi. You can also drink some drinks like milkshakes, chaas, shikanji or kheer.

5. For dinner, Rujuta Diwekar recommends keeping it light with samak ke chawal combined with dahi. Also you can enjoy paneer sabzi with rotis as suggested for lunch. Nutritionists also recommend jhangora (millet mother-of-pearl) kheer for the last meal of the day.
