Hello Neighbor 2, the much-anticipated sequel to 2017’s Hello Neighbor, finally has a release date and will be out this December.
More specifically, the suburban horror game will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 6th. developer tinyBuild announced this news alongside the reveal. Hello Neighbor 2 Deluxe Edition. Additionally, those who pre-order the game will immediately have access to the beta that went live yesterday.
“You may notice that there are two versions currently available for pre-order,” tinyBuild wrote in one Posts on Steam. “Hello Neighbor 2 Standard Edition pre-orders will contain the full game at launch [plus] Instant Beta access once your pre-order is complete. Now for the Deluxe Edition both versions will give you Beta access but of course the Deluxe Edition comes with some pretty cool extra features. Specifically, 3 brand new DLC available at launch and 5 days Early Access to the game before its full release on December 6, 2022.”
As for the beta, now released, tinyBuild says it likes to “call it the Encapsulated Hello Neighbor 2 Beta Experience”, because while the game is still in development, this beta gives players the feel of an Encapsulated Hello Neighbor 2 Beta Experience. Get a taste of what a visit to Raven Brooks will look and feel like, including location, residents, and more. However, some gameplay elements fans of the series can look forward to like breakable windows and boxes won’t be in the beta – they will be in the final release though. Plus, tinyBuild says the beta is “spoiler-free”.
Other revelations that have come along with these announcements include new Hello Neighbor 2 merchandise and, for those who pre-order, a stream of Lofi Neighborhood Radio.
