Heavyweight Tyson Fury announces his retirement from boxing

The greatest heavyweight boxer of this generation said goodbye.

Two times world champion Tyson Fury made the announcement on Friday, which is his 34th birthday. Fury revealed that he is retiring from his boxing career.

Nicknamed the “King of Gypsy,” British boxer Fury called it quits with an undefeated record of 32-0-1. He will go down in history with his iconic trio with Deontay Wilder (in which Fury claimed two knockout wins and one draw). Fury also defeated Wladimir Klitschko, the great of the previous generation of heavyweights, in a 2015 clash. The most recent bout for Fury came last April when he stopped Dillian Whyte by TKO. in the sixth inning.

Aside from his prowess in the ring, Fury also has a lot of personality, so this probably won’t be the last time we see him in public. In fact, we already know about a potential career that Fury might want to pursue next.
