Heavy rain and flooding sparks travel chaos in Scotland ahead of New Year celebrations | UK News

Some people are preparing to welcome the New Year in traditional Edinburgh style for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak in early 2020.

The bad weather comes after the Met Office issued an amber warning for rain in parts of southern Scotland on Friday and a yellow warning for much of the rest of the country.
