Death Knights are a new class for Hearthstone coming to the March Of The Lich King in December, but they’ll stick around forever. The Death Knight’s vampire charging ability allows them to command the undead. By spending two mana, you can summon a vampire for a death fee at the end of the turn. Whenever one of your dead minions returns, you get a corpse that – interestingly – can be used to power up other cards. Death Knights are powered by the Blood, Frost, and Unholy runes. There is detailed information about the Death Knight class here.
Speaking of vampires, March Of The Lich King also introduces a new type of minion. The Undead are the Lich King’s walking weapon, and these cards will be either neutral or in classes befitting the King himself. A lot of the expansion’s cards will trigger a bonus effect if one of your minions dies, during your current turn, on your opponent’s last one. There are also dual type minions, keeping an aspect of what they had before they captured it and joined the Lich King’s army.
