Healthy Hara Bhara Barbecue: Make this Protein-Rich Kebab for a Guilty-Free Snack

Hara Bhara Kebab Recipe: How to Make Hara Bhara Kebab Healthy
Element:
- Spinach, blanched – 250gm
- Poached green beans – 1 cup
- Green chili – 2-3
- Coriander and mint leaves – 100gm
- Large boiled sweet potato -2
- Grinding board – 100gm
- Chickpea/besan powder – 2/3 tbsp
- Ginger garlic – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tablespoon
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
- Dill powder – 1 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Chaat masala – 1 tablespoon
Method:
- Start by blanching the spinach. Squeeze any excess water out of it and transfer to a blender. Add peas, green peppers, mint, and coriander leaves. Blend until you get a thick paste.
- Now, transfer this puree to a bowl. Add mashed sweet potatoes, ginger-garlic powder, chickpea flour, and mashed sheets along with a host of spices. Mix well and form into small balls.
- Flatten them out and cook them over medium low heat with very little oil.

- Since this is a healthier version of the recipe – we’re using sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes.
- Grilled meat instead of deep-frying.
- Avoid using breadcrumbs for better health, but if the mixture doesn’t hold its shape, you can add breadcrumbs as a binder.
- These grilled meats are rich in protein and healthy for a snack.
