The Sagar district government filed a First Information Report against Jitendra for negligence and a flagrant violation of the Central government’s “one needle, one syringe, one time” pledge.
A department investigation has also been started into Dr. Rakesh Roshan, County Immunization Officer, who is in charge of sending out vaccines and other required documents in the morning.
The incident happened in a Covid vaccination camp for students at Jain public high school in Sagar city. Realizing the children were being injected with a single syringe, the parents raised alarms.
