“He has the style to beat him”

Chris Eubank Jr has made his prediction about the highly anticipated heavyweight title fight, between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk.

The two heavyweight champions have been locked in negotiations for months now, and although some fans have begun to lose patience, Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, assured them that he and Usyk’s team were still working on a deal.

The delay was attributed to the three-belt champion, Usyk, feeling that he deserved a 50/50 for bringing the majority of the belts to the table. However, even Frank Warren’s rival Eddie Hearn has admitted that Fury’s commercial value is ‘on another level’ than the Ukrainian and understand the reasoning behind waiting for an official announcement.

Despite that, the super-middleweight opponent, Eubank Jr, has given his prediction for the match if it comes to fruition. Speak in one mass media because of his fight with Liam Smith, Eubank said:

“It was a good fight, Fury-Usyk. I think Fury is too big, but if anyone wants to beat him, then Usyk has enough style.”

Eubank was knocked out by Liam Smith in the fourth round of their fight and ever since activated his rematch clause to set up a second match at the end of the year.

‘Beefy’ has said he will fight Eubank again, ideally at Anfield Stadium, home of his beloved Liverpool FC side and it looks like his dream is still alive can become a reality.

For Eubank, a second world title match seemed further away than ever, with his hopes of facing Gennadiy Golovkin beginning to wane, the rematch with Smith now looks set to decide or break broke his career.
