The finale of The House of the Dragon season attracted 9 million viewers (even though the episode was leaked prior to premiere), according to HBO on both linear and streaming platforms.

All episodes of House of the Dragon are averaging 29 million viewers, according to Deadline, with Game of Thrones Season 8 averaging nearly 33 million viewers per episode by comparison.
