If I remember correctly, Action Man: Raid On Island X included a cereal box. This was back when cereal got the bounty of that Happy Meal, and you’ll look forward to that thumping like a dusty gift that lands in your bowl. You won’t find any game demos in those wheat crumbs anymore.
Definitely not someone on the level of Action Man: Raid On Island X at least. It’s absolute business.
Memories are hazy, but I think Island X is home to Dr. X, Action Man’s arch-nemesis. He has a robotic arm, purple trousers, and looks like he’s running on an aggressive noisy Harley Davidson. In Raid On Island X, you’ll infiltrate his island and disrupt his master plan – whatever that is.
Raid On Island X has quite a few mini-games, many of which are basic but more super weird. A lot of them are on the tracks, like one in particular that made you slide through what looks like Dr. X’s backyard. You need to avoid these punching bags by clicking to bring your foot. up, and this becomes increasingly difficult as they move up and down or appear in erratic patterns.
I especially enjoyed a mini-game that featured you flying in this special scuba diving suit, dodging sea mines and shooting jellyfish or robotic sharks. It was a simpler time, but a very good time.
