Lately, there’s been a maximalist mood that has permeated every aspect of fashion. We’re entering the next vibrant 20s, and our wardrobes are catching on to that mood: it’s time to swap out sweatpants and casuals for something more exciting. Sequins, silks and bright colors are blooming on the runways and saturating the streetwear scene. Nowhere is this change to the ultraglamour more apparent than with the hats.

The Kyiv-born designer started his career as a stylist, but when he couldn’t find hats for his coats, he started making them himself. Another line that heralds the return of party hats is Marianna Senchina. The Milan-based line is run by sisters Marianna and Natalia and dedicated to a rich, romantic aesthetic that has created Rihanna and fans of Dua Lipa.
