Who says food can’t be used to create art? Obviously not this seasoned chef! Industrialist Harsh Goenka posted the video to his official handle with the caption, “When a simple Appam becomes an art form!” The video has racked up 44k views and 609 likes since it was shared.
In the video we can see how Appam powder has been used to create various shapes. The chef managed to spin the light and airy dough in the pan itself and create birds, hearts, butterflies and more! The fact that the powder was rather thin was beneficial to the creation of Appam art. Furthermore, chefs can multitask and create different Appams in one go using multiple pans and cooktops.
Twitter users have been full of praise for this amazing Appam art. Many people have submitted their thoughts in the comments section. “Awesome, there’s room for innovation everywhere,” wrote one user while another said, “A mix of food and design on the table in the form of this appam.”
