Har Ghar Tiranga: How to pin the fantasy country and upload Tiranga selfies to Har Ghar Tiranga website

Prime minister Narendra Modi in his Mann Ki Baat national radio on July 31 said that under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav‘(from 13th to 15th August), a special movement -‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is being organized. “Let us continue this movement by lifting Ensign Mr. Modi also urged people to set Tricolor from August 2-15 as their profile picture on social media platforms. The Prime Minister said he is glad that Mahotsav is taking the form “When India completes 75 years of Independence, we will all witness a moment of history and glory”, he said.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is an initiative of Ministry of Culture to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The ministry has launched the Har Ghar Tiranga website that allows Indian citizens to pin the national flag. Citizens can pin a virtual flag at their place to mark their contribution. There is an option to add your image on the site. The site also has a live dashboard that shows how many Tricolors have been pinned so far across the country.
This is how you can Pin India flag virtually
1. Click the ‘Pin a Flag’ button on the website.
2. You will need to enter your name and mobile phone number. There is also an option to sign in with your Google credentials. Fill in all required details.
3. Users need to share location access to continue, so allow location access in your device.
4. Now you are ready to Pin Tricolor to your place.
Citizens can also upload their selfies with the national flag on the Har Ghar Tiranga website. Here are the steps to post your selfie with the flag on the website:
