Residents in a village of Madhya Pradesh were shocked when one of the ordinary hand pumps started spewing fire along with water.
Images of a hand pump in Kachhar village spewing fire and water are causing a stir on social media. Kachhar is located 10 km from Bakswaha panchayat in Chhatarpur district. Officials in the area have been notified of the unusual sighting.
Video recorded by locals shows the hand pump spewing water and fire at the same time to the amazement of onlookers. It was also shared on Twitter with a note that reads, “Fire and water coming out of a hand pump. Location – Kachchar Village of Bakswaha, Madhya Pradesh. “

In 2020, a Madhya Pradesh farmer filed a complaint about a Defective hand pump through the Minister’s helpline received an appropriate response from the Department of Public Health Engineering. The farmer from Rahavali village in Bhind district received a response, among other things, that: “The complainer is crazy, the hand pump will be fixed on his chest.”
