Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but Halo The series is constantly a roller coaster of both good and bad, and very few episodes can encapsulate that as well as this week’s story in “Allegiance”. Your regular hosts Alex Stadnik, Andrew Reiner and Brian Shea are back, and there’s no doubt in mind the return of Master Chief, Makee, and Dr. Halsey. After a week in Madrigal with Kwan and Soren, the focus shifts to Reach and what UNSC is doing about finding The Covenant and Halo. While humanity’s militaristic arm panics over other planets being glassed by alien enemies, John and Makee are spending time getting to know each other after they share a vision of the movie’s name.
While the universe’s greatest Spartan and Covenant spies band together in the park (and elsewhere), Dr. Halsey continues to intercede to elevate humanity in her image, threatening those who don’t. that she’s trying to save in the process. Will the kind doctor’s intervention and the fusion of the main characters lead to unification between the two warring factions or make the upcoming battle much more difficult?
