If you’re playing solo or with another friend, it’s much easier to get into a match than it is to throw in a match with a larger roster. If you fall into the second camp, chances are you won’t even be able to make it to a proper match, and while 343 Industries managed to work this out before the studio holidays, it was unable to fix it. completely. The post said that a strike force had resolved the issue over the holiday season and that the group is now confident they have a solution to the core issue. That fix went into QA last week, and it looks good because the team “didn’t see this issue internally when using this build”.
“The next steps are to continue testing and then move on to the certification process as we prepare to release a fix/hot patch for this issue,” the blog post continued. “It’s a bit early to release an ETA but know that our goal is to get this out as soon as possible while ensuring it doesn’t have any other unintended impact on the retail product. It won’t happen this week, but we hope it’s not too far away and we’ll share an update as soon as we have a vision of the release date (after we clear the ‘cert’, we I will gladly deliver ). ”
343 Industries also tackles some of the other topics and issues players have discussed so far, which is cheating.
