‘Gutfeld!’ Effect? Underrated Trevor Noah Retires From ‘Daily Show’

Did he jump or was pushed?

Trevor Noah’s reign on “The Daily Show” is coming to an end. The comic on the left was announced on the Comedy Central show Thursday.

The media is treating the news with all the glitz and circumstances of the royal family transition. He changed the television! He brought the show into the social media age!

The party must not speak out? He oversaw the show’s dramatic ratings collapse!

Noah wouldn’t be missed, if only because his voice has been featured on the rest of the shows. If Noah wasn’t around to mock President Donald Trump, Governor Ron DeSantis, or any other GOP politician, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, John Oliver, and Jimmy Kimmel would get lazy.

And Jimmy Fallon, whose “Tonight Show” now regularly ranks fourth on the late-night scene, will be looking for their liberal pieces.

The late-night landscape is changing. Recently we have watched as TBS cuts ties with Samantha Beeand James Corden previously announced that he would leave the world of TV “Late Late.”

It is hard to deny the main reason for these changes in the industry.

Greg Gutfeld.

The Fox News superstar entered the late-night fight in April 2021 and is currently the highest-rated show in that space. Gutfeld’s audience dwarfs Noah’s television herd, and The Daily Mail may be the only mainstream news site to highlight Noah’s pathetic ratings.

Where will Noah go next? It hardly matters.

What is clear is that the late night is undergoing a transformation. Any platform that wishes to stay in the game late into the night will be forced to bring more diverse servers to the table following the loss of Showtime’s Noah, Bee and “Desus & Mero”.

That diversity won’t be ideological, meaning it won’t matter in a significant way.

Noah’s legacy is insignificant compared to his predecessor. Jon Stewart helped set up Comedy Central’s fake news template, bringing leftist bias to the small screen across the country. Undoubtedly, Stewart’s effects team surpassed that of Noah, and the “Irresistible” director launched the careers of Steve Carell, Ed Helms, Stephen Colbert and more.

Noah had grown into the gig, but he never understood the sense of outrage that Stewart had brought to the silliest headlines.

The host of the upcoming “Daily Show” occasionally exits the freelance group, as he mentioned President Joe Biden’s epic bakery Earlier this week, he asked a deceased person to speak up at a public event.

Those were rare moments during his 7 years of running.

Noah also feels bad for Jussie Smollett, whose hate crime hoax crippled the Chicago police and raised ideological tensions across the country.

He copied his liberal colleagues in carrying out flattery conversations with Democrats like Vice President Kamala Harris, more yawn-inducing television that no one could salvage the moment improvement.

Stewart is destroying her cultural heritage by will wake up, courtesy of “The Problem with Jon Stewart” on Apple TV+. Noah left the stage with little legacy to protect.
