Gunna talks about her current relationship with Young Thug’s YSL label (VIDEO)
Gunna is cleaning the air where he stands with young thug‘S YSL record label. Talking to RapCaviar For the ‘Day In The Life’ show, the ‘f*kumean’ rapper spoke about his relationship with the organization as people continue to speculate issues between him and its founder.
“I’m still signed to YSL, I’m still delivering, like we’re still working hard. Like, no paperwork was changed; know what I’m talking about. So it seems like whatever is going on and how we push this, it’s going on,” Gunna revealed of her Young Stoner Life Records relationship.
In April, Gunna told XXL that his relationship with Thug remains “the same.” “It’s always been love. Our relationship is our relationship,” he added.
Details of Gunna’s previous incident involving YSL
Late 2022, Gunna accept a plea deal after Atlanta prosecutors jailed him earlier that year on RICO charges. He, along with Young Thug and 25 others, face a 56-count case. The indictment alleges YSL is a gang called Young Stoner Life, every vulture.
After seven months behind bars, Gunna was released on December 14, 2022, after Alford pleaded guilty to extortion conspiracy. Instead of serving five years, the court reduced his sentence to time served and assigned him 500 hours of community service. Additionally, he was asked to agree to several statements regarding YSL in court, including “YSL is a music label and a gang, and [he] individual knew that members or associates of YSL had committed crimes in support of the gang.”
After he accepted his plea, seven defendants also entered pleas, according to Vulture. The newspaper reported that six defendants were on trial, with some already taking action — most notably and virally, Thugger’s.

Since his release, Gunna has maintained that he was not “critical” of Thugger, issuing statements through his lawyer and music. He also has formerly known as to release Thug.
Most recently, Thugger’s father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., enjoyed a front row seat to Gunna’s show and spread the word about how he lives life to the fullest.
