Disarm’s Easy Tap Dam – a $300,000 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky aspiration purchase – won one of five starting slots for Winchells and Asmussen. The 12-year-old produced Tap Daddy (Scat Daddy), Pimlico’s James W. Murphy S. winner and runner-up in GIII Dixiana Bourbon S. for similar connections. He is also the champion in Venezuela after being sold privately. Easy Tap is also responsible for the high staked Total Tap (Candy Ride {Arg}) and a Gunman this year’s pony.
