Gopal Italia was taken away in a police van from the NCW office.

The head of Gujarat of the Aam Aadmi Party was detained at the Delhi National Commission for Women’s office this afternoon for a controversial video in which it is alleged that he used insulting language to the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi.
Gopal Italia appeared before the Commission’s office earlier in the day in response to a summons in the case. He was taken away in a police car minutes after he claimed Rekha Sharma, the NCW director, threatened to send him to jail.
Mr Italia’s accusations come almost an hour after Ms Sharma accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers of creating strife outside her office. This caused another flashpoint between the AAP and the BJP with Minister Arvind Kejriwal attacking the BJP for its pursuit of Mr. Italia.
Delhi Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia also criticized the BJP and said that Mr. Italia was detained because he belonged to a party that knew how to build schools. “They don’t know how to educate people and improve schools,” said the AAP senior leader.
The incident involved a controversial video, believed to be from 2019, in which Mr Italia allegedly used abusive terms, including “neech aadmi (lowly)”, to describe Prime Minister Modi. The committee summoned him to his office today to handle the case, claiming that his language was “sexist” and “wrong” deviated “.
“He denied receiving a summons but his reply was ready. He also denied his presence in the video but in his reply he accepted the tweet. He insist it’s not him in the video,” said the head of the women’s council.
Earlier that day, she announced on Twitter that AAP employees were creating conflict outside of her office. Tagging the Prime Minister’s Office and other police handling, she also shared a photo of the crowd holding a banner.
Almost an hour later, Mr. Italia announced on Twitter that the head of the Commission threatened to put him in jail and even called the police.
“The head of NCW is threatening to put me in jail. What more can the Modi government give the Patel community. The BJP hates the Patidar community. I am a descendant of Sardar (Vallabhbhai) Patel. I am not afraid of your prison. guys. Take me to jail. Even the police have been called. I’m being threatened,” he said in a tweet.
Mr. Kejriwal retweeted his tweet, wondering, “Why is the whole BJP chasing Gopal Italia?”
