GTA 6 leak prompts developers to share original footage from their biggest game releases
Since the weekend GTA 6 leaked has proliferated across digital superhighways like someone weaving a stolen car that eludes us all, there are those who believe the graphics are the first thing perfected in the process. game development. This is not the case. The developers know that, so some have shared early footage of popular games you and I most likely played in a very different form.
The issue of when the graphics were finished surfaced on Twitter on Monday. While that GTA 6 footage looks raw, that’s because it was taken from an unfinished game. That was pretty standard during development, and it’s highly unlikely that the game will be the same when it’s released years from now. This is the team that did it Cult Of The Lambe.g. showing an early version of their ritualistic spoof:

That also looks a bit confusing and not at all interesting as the end result. Also Control in its early days, lead designer Paul Ehreth noted:
Since the graphics are the first thing perfected in a video game, and CONTROL has won many awards for outstanding graphics, here’s the shot from the start of development 🙂

I think my favorite is the word Our Lastlooks not even at all different from the remastered version if you really squint, really, really hard:

There is certainly an argument here, that consumers would be more aware of the game development process if the developers were open and transparent while they were working. There’s also the counter-argument that people won’t care about the bad footage of games that are in development years before they’re released and are likely to be scrapped altogether. I know I want to see a polished game in playable form, but you’ll have your own way.
GTA 6 is real but it’s out when is it done?, you. Doing all of the above well also gives enough time in the oven.
