GTA 5 Worried Ron Returns In The Next GTA Online Update

Rockstar teased a new story update coming soon GTA Online next week, pitting players against a ramshackle group of rival drug dealers. Los Santos Drug Wars kicks off December 13 with the first installment of the update. The short article Rockstar’s Newswire blog doesn’t have the full details at the moment, but it does give an idea of the kind of sly character and mischief you’ll encounter, including an angry-looking luchador and a return back of the nervous Ron in GTA 5.

GTA Online’s last major update was Criminal Enterprises in the summer.

The nervous Ron Jakowski is the conspiracy theory best friend of one of GTA 5’s main characters, Trevor, and someone who bears little resemblance to real-life gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. Ron has appeared in GTA Online a few times before, when the game came out in 2013 and for the Smuggler’s Run update in 2017.

The opening chapter of a two-part update about the Drug War in Los Santos teams you up with Ron and his team in Blaine County, who Rockstar calls “foreign aliens on a mission destined to put their stamp on the hallucinogen trade in Los Santos.” A lot of this will have to do with a strange partnership of loaded hippies and ruthless cyclists to drift their hallucinogens. To cook all the produce you need, you, Ron Nervous, and friends will have access to the lab and “your very own giant rolling chemistry suite.” Guess if it’s something related to the trucks or trains in the artwork. The update introduces a new business to run, along with more vehicles, missions, and upgrades.

Rockstar sets GTA Online players a $2 trillion Theft challenge at the end of November, double the amount stolen in the previous challenge in 2020. Cheeky tricks while playing GTA by someone completely beat that target, getting more 4 trillion dollars within just one week. It’s a bunch of robbers, people. Unreasonable amount of straight stealing scores for players Declasse Tahoma Coupe when GTA Online’s December update came out, it certainly looked like a car that someone who could make $4 trillion would drive. GTA 5 is available from Steam and Epic game store for £25/$30/€30 and the game includes access to GTA Online.
