Panthalassa (railway) dies at G1 Dubai Turf | DRC

2022 G1 Dubai Turf is deadly hot Panthalassa (Jpn) (Lord Kanaloa {Jpn}) will be heading to the $20 million G1 Saudi Cup in Riyadh on February 25, www.tospo-keiba.jp reported on Tuesday. The news was revealed by Yoshito Yahagi, the 5-year-old’s coach. Panthalassa, who raced for Hiroo Race Co., Ltd., initially aimed to defend his G1 Dubai Turf title. If his Arabian expedition goes well, Panthalassa will then head to the G1 Dubai World Cup on March 25.

Yahagi told Tospo-Keiba, β€œHe is ranked 121, and the left-handed 1800 meters is the best condition for Panthalassa. I think it will be an interesting challenge.”

Since his victory over Meydan, he was substituted in G1 Takarazuka Kinen of June, but finished second in both G2 Sapporo Kinen August 21 and G1 Tenno Sho October 30 (Fall). In his most recent outing, Panthalassa finished 10th in the Hong Kong G1 Cup.
