More news on the suspect responsible for the death Robbie Elementary School Filmed in Uvalde, Texas. According to ABC News, Governor Greg Abbott has identified the suspect as the dead suspect, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos. In an unrelated press conference, Governor Abbott said of the Uvalde High School student, “He horribly and incomprehensible shot and killed 14 students and killed a teacher.”
Governor Abbott continued to speak about the tragedy, saying, “What happened in Uvalde is a horrific tragedy that cannot be tolerated in the state of Texas. Local law enforcement will act promptly. It is believed that the response officers killed him,” he said. “It appears that two response officers were hit by bullets, but there were no serious injuries.”
In addition, for the life taken at the primary school, the Governor also stated that Salvador was also accused of shooting his grandmother before entering the school and opening fire. As we reported earlier, a number of people injured in the shooting have been transported to local hospitals.
CNN reported that two victims, a 10-year-old girl with serious injuries and a 66-year-old woman, were being treated at the University Health System in San Antonio, TX. The hospital announced via Facebook, “We received two patients from the shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. One patient is a 66-year-old woman. The other patient is a 10-year-old girl. Both patients are in critical condition.” The post continued, “Our hearts are broken for those affected by this senseless tragedy. Our thoughts are with the patients, families, students, teachers and people of this community.”
