A bunch of footage from the sequel to Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto series has leaked online. Early on Sunday morning, a hacker using a teapot uploaded 90 videos from a test build of Grand Theft Auto VI arrive . They said they obtained the test build after gaining access to Rockstar employees’ Slack accounts and were able to upload additional data online, including source code and content from GTA DRAW and GTA VI, as well as build the test yourself. It is unclear how old this version of the game is. Rockstar is said to be working GTA VI as of 2014. In July, Schreier reported that the studio was at least two years away from releasing the game to the public.
Grand Theft Auto series publisher Take-Two Interactive did not immediately respond to Engadget’s request for comment.
