Video game publisher Rockstar Games’ studio said Monday morning that someone breached its system and download confidential information including “early development footage” for the sequel to the blockbuster series. That followed the release of at least some of that footage over the weekend, which went viral making the long-awaited game highly anticipated. The purported hacker also hinted in posts on an online forum that he has the game’s source code and is looking to negotiate a deal with the company.
