Ford Escort RS Cosworth ’92
(Can be purchased from Used Cars)
A distinctive WRC homologation with a unique double-decker wing design.
Ford began its 1990s World Rally Championship (WRC) campaign powered by the Sierra RS Cosworth 4×4. Then in 1992 came the Escort RS Cosworth, a special homologation model developed for even greater performance. The original Escort was a masterpiece, widely used in racing from the late 60s to the 70s. Years later, Ford Europe used the compact body of the 5th generation Escort, installing put a highly tuned all-wheel-drive powertrain from the Sierra and adorn the rear of the car with a large dual spoiler to complete the fearsome makeover. At the heart of the beast is a Cosworth-built 2L longitudinally-mounted turbocharged twin-cam engine, as the car is named after. The bore stroke ratio has been overhauled, resulting in a total displacement of 1,993 cc and producing 223.9 BHP/30.4 kgfm in the stock version.
On four-wheel drive, the center differential uses a combination of viscous coupling and planetary gearing for maximum reliability. The Escort RS Cosworth began production in 1992 and achieved homologation status the following year when it began full-scale competition in the WRC’s Group A category. “Cossie”, as fans call him, finished 1-2 in round 3 of the Portugal Rally and won two consecutive victories in round 5 (Tour de Corse) and round 6 (Acropolis) before repeating the achievement. in rounds 11 and 12 (San Remo and Spain) restored Ford’s reputation as a serious competitor on the track.

Mercedes-Benz W 196 R’55
(Can be purchased from Legendary Vehicles)
A legendary F1 car that made motorsport history.
The W 196 was produced by Mercedes-Benz after their return to motorsport in 1951, developed according to the 2.5L engine regulations that Formula 1 introduced in 1954. It was developed in parallel with a sports racing model that shares the same basic components. The W 196 entered F1 competition, while the W 196 S competed in sports car racing with both cars achieving success in their respective fields. The chassis was based on a tubular steel spaceframe and made its debut in the inaugural race at the 1954 French Grand Prix with a streamlined body covering the front and rear wheels with aerodynamic skins.
However, after the following British Grand Prix, it became clear that this body style obstructed the driver’s vision and required too much maintenance, so from the German Grand Prix onwards, the car ran mainly with bodywork. Economical, open-wheeled vehicle designed for high-speed circuits only. These are not the only two body types however, the chassis is configured with three different wheelbase lengths, two brake types and two engine positions for a total of seven variations. The engine used was an inline-8 design built similarly to two banks of four cylinders connected longitudinally. At its peak, it produced 285 BHP from its 2,496 cc displacement and propelled the bike to a top speed of 180.2 mph. The W 196 went on to dominate the F1 World Championship in 1954 and 1955, winning two consecutive drivers’ championship titles for Juan Manuel Fangio.

Porsche 911 Turbo S (992) ’20
(Can be purchased from Brand Central)
The highest performance model of the eighth generation 911.
An icon of the Porsche range for more than 60 years, the 911 enters its eighth generation in 2018 under the codename ‘992’. On the exterior, the 992 was an improvement on the motifs introduced by its predecessor, the 991. Body dimensions increased slightly but efforts were made to reduce weight by increasing the use of aluminum. Another notable change is that the narrow-body base model from previous generations has been dropped. One point to note in the vehicle’s structure is the new MMB module development platform. This flexible platform includes front axle, deck axle and rear axle with the ability to adapt to rear engine or midship designs by adjusting the position of the rear axle. In terms of powertrain, a move has been made towards downsizing, with the base model featuring a 3L turbocharged flat-six engine.
Power output is adjusted depending on the model, with the Carrera producing 379.7 BHP while the Carrera S produces 443.8 BHP. The standard transmission is an eight-speed PDK, with a seven-speed manual available on Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S models. In April 2020, the Turbo S model was added to the 992 line as the top performance model. With a slightly shorter stroke than previous Turbo S models, this 3,745 cc flat-six twin-turbo engine powers the four wheels with a whopping 641 BHP/800 Nm ( 81.6 kgfm).

Porsche X ’23 mission
(Can be purchased from Brand Central)
A hypercar concept celebrating Porsche’s 75th anniversary.
In June 1948, the first car to bear the Porsche name, the 356 ‘No. 1’ Roadster approved, fueling the rise of one of the greatest sports car brands in history. 75 years later, on the same day in 2023, the company presented a new concept, an interpretation of the possible future of sports car technology inspired by countless classic Porsche car legends. This concept is called Task X.
The all-electric two-seat hypercar is actually relatively compact, only 4,500 mm long and 2,000 mm wide. With a height of just under 1,200 mm, the low-slung design has an almost sculptural shape with bold lines, showing that a hypercar doesn’t have to look too aggressive. In each exterior area there are motifs of historic racing cars. The headlights are a reinterpretation of the four-phase lights that adorned cars like the 906 and 908, while the doors use an upward opening motion similar to the legendary 917 endurance car. Moving to the rear, the logo The illuminated transparent ‘Porsche’ is located between the light clusters extending from the side of the car’s body. Looking closer, the Porsche symbols on the bonnet and steering wheel are more modern and updated than the classic logo. The interior shows a strong connection to motorsport. The steering wheel uses an open yoke design, integrated with gearshift paddles and a number of mode switch buttons. The passenger seat can be equipped with a stopwatch module created by Porsche Design, featuring both analog and digital timers. Additionally, the driver can press the record button on the multi-function controller at any time to start recording video footage from multiple cameras installed on the vehicle.
The Mission kg and canis can create significantly more downforce than the current 911 GT3 RS. The concept also features radical charging. With a 900 V system architecture, charging speeds are significantly improved, hypothetically allowing it to charge twice as fast as Porsche’s current electric leader, the Taycan Turbo S.

Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC ’18
(Can be purchased from Brand Central)
A bigger Jimny with a vision for global success.
Although the Suzuki Jimny’s small stature allows it to fit Japanese kei vehicle regulations, underneath its skin lies a sturdy and durable off-roader with true ladder frame construction. . The Jimny Sierra is a model for the global market that takes advantage of that off-road capability and frees it from the constraints of kei regulations. Introduced in 2018, the JB74 chassis is the third generation since the model’s debut in 1994.
Compared to the previous JB43 chassis, the new model is 50 mm shorter and 45 mm wider. This is further emphasized on the car’s body design, which has a squarer, bolder aesthetic. The vehicle is equipped with a 4-cylinder DOHC K15B in-line engine, 1,460 cc capacity, producing 100.6 BHP/13.3 kgfm. At a glance, these numbers may not seem like much, but the low sustained torque makes it absolutely perfect for off-road crawling. The four-wheel drive system is a part-time setup with a mechanical transfer case. Using solid axles front and rear, the excellent suspension makes the bike feel right at home crawling over rocks or trudging through mud while barreling along paved roads.
