Google Pixels the smartphone has got the October security update which fixes various bugs Android 13 User interface issues. It also solves audio and connection problems in Pixel 4 or later (except Pixel 6 series and Pixel 6a smartphones). This is also the final update to the fourth generation of Pixel handsets.
According to the official changelog, the Pixel security update brings a fix for noise coming out while owners of Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), Pixel 5, and Pixel 5a (5G) used a wired headset during a phone call. All other fixes have been rolled out to supported Pixels smartphones. Connection issues using VPN and issues preventing available Wi-Fi networks from showing up in the network selection menu in certain apps have been resolved.
The update brings fixes for various user interface issues people are experiencing with Android 13. These include compatibility issues with certain app extensions in Android 13 as well as issues causing media players to show default icons for some media apps, device issues when playing audio from local storage, Quick Settings pane empty to show in notification drawer and the Work Profile toggle button appears truncated in the app drawer.

Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro launched
The update comes days before the launch of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones on October 6 at the ‘Made by Google’ event. The flagship handsets will be up for pre-order in India from October 6 on Flipkart. The company has revealed that the devices will be powered by the Google Tensor G2 SoC made by Samsung.
While the Pixel 7 will come in Lem Lemon, Obsidian, and Snow color options, the Pixel 7 Pro will come in Hazel, Obsidian, and Snow. The Pixel 7 will have a dual rear camera setup, and the Pixel 7 Pro will have three cameras on the back. Both phones will also feature the Titan M security chip. Google will also launch the Google Pixel Watch and some Nest devices.
